Duties Description An intern in the Apprenticeship Training Central office within the Division of Employment and Workforce Solutions (DEWS) would assist in performing work related to the Apprenticeship Modernization Project. As the Apprenticeship Training Unit looks to modernize, digitize, and streamline our database and processes, the summer intern would have the opportunity to participate in various aspects of this project.
Responsibilities may include but not be limited to the following:
• Updating current program management files and creating new files within the shared network folders;
• Digitizing paper records in accordance with Department guidelines;
• Cleansing of data and reporting within the old legacy database system;
• Attending meetings as required; and
• Communicating in person, via e-mail, or phone with various Apprenticeship Staff.
Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a student currently enrolled in upcoming/current college courses.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Proficiency with excel, word, Microsoft office databases
Excellent attention to detail
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team.
