Duties Description The Student Assistant will provide support for the Office of Crime Analysis and Strategic Partnerships (OCASP), Niagara Intelligence & Crime Analysis Center by assisting in regular product development and special projects, as necessary. Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting with reviewing reports for partner agencies;

• Assisting with creating daily intelligence bulletins, pattern bulletins, and others, as needed;

• Assisting with gun crime tracking;

• Creation of Gun Involved Violence Elimination (GIVE) presentations;

• Assisting with building COMPSTAT briefings;

• Researching projects such as tracking local gun crime pre- and post-COVID, and other projects; and

• Other routine tasks, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications Must be a current student enrolled in a matriculating degree program and have completed a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year college or university.

Preferred Qualifications: The preferred candidate would possess experience with Microsoft 365, research experience, and strong written and verbal communication.
